In this episode, we explore how data spaces are connected, protected, and leveraged to generate real value for both research and clinical practice. Raquel Amigo, Coordinator of the La Fe Biobank, explains how the responsible management of data and biological samples accelerates biomedical innovation and strengthens precision medicine.
We take a closer look at the vital role hospital biobanks play within this ecosystem: infrastructures that not only safeguard samples but also amplify their scientific and healthcare impact.

In this episode, we delve into the architecture of OmicSpace: how data spaces are connected, how they are protected, and, above all, how they are transformed into real value for the biomedical ecosystem. To explore this vision, we are joined by Rubén Villoria, representing GMV, the technology company responsible for the infrastructure that powers OmicSpace.
Together, we examine the major challenges of data sharing: extensive fragmentation, lack of interoperability, diverse data formats, and regulatory complexity, all of which make it difficult to share information securely and efficiently.
