On July 16, 2025, Order TDF/758/2025 was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), regulating aid from the Data Spaces Kit program, within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan – Next Generation EU.

This aid is designed to finance the incorporation of entities into sectoral data spaces, such as OmicSpace, and to cover the associated technical, legal and organizational costs.

Who can apply for the grant?
  • Public or private entities with legal personality and economic activity in the EU.
  • Spanish public administrations.

🚫 The following are not elegible: self-employed workers, joint ventures, civil partnerships, or communities of property.

What can be funded?
  • Identification of opportunities and development of a business plan.
  • Legal advice and regulatory assessment.
  • Preparation of data and metadata.
  • Technical adaptation, infrastructure, and software to connect to a data space.
Types of participation
  • Basic participant: formal agreement and inclusion in the data space registry.
  • Advanced provider: in addition to the above, must have published data products in the space catalog.
Funding amount
  • Public and private entities:
    • Up to €15,000 as a basic participant.
    • Up to €30,000 as an advanced provider.
  • Public administrations:
    • Up to €25,000 as a basic participant.
    • Up to €50,000 as an advacend provider.

📌 Funding is granted per beneficiary and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis (non-competitive competition).

Conditions for obtaining the aid
  • Entities must have completed an effective incorporation (as a participant or advanced provider).
  • Be up to date with tax obligations and not exceed the de minimis funding threshold.
  • Companies must be at least 6 months old and be registered in the relevant tax registry.

2. If your dataset is not yet ready, OMICSPACE supports you throughout the process to prepare, publish and access funding:
  • Data cleaning, normalization and processing
  • Publication of your data catalog in OMICSPACE as a data provider
  • Technical connection to the data space (OMICSPACE connector and IDSA integration)
